Easy Transport for your Horse
We offer a compact 3.5t easy to drive, safe & spacious horsebox for self drive hire from our base in Burton Dassett. It can be driven by anyone with a standard car licence, aged between 22-75 years old who has held a licence for more than 2 years.
With a 1.2t payload, our box can carry 3 passengers and two horses up to 15.2h. There is a separate, spacious day living area with bench seating, 2 bridle racks and saddle racks, USB charger and internal lights.
There is a horse area camera so you can keep an eye on your horse whilst traveling and a reversing camera.
With fully comprehensive insurance, breakdown cover and equine rescue in place, you have peace of mind when travelling your precious cargo.

- Ability to transport 2 horses up to 15.2 facing backwards with a 3.5 tonne limit.
- Has an adjustable/removable central partition which makes the box suitable for transporting mare with foals at foot.
- Has rubber floor matting including the ramp which is lightweight and easily managed by one person.
- Rear 'Grooms Area' which offers ample storage space with bench seats, 2 saddle racks and jockey door leading through to the horses.
- Has CCTV both inside, so you can monitor your horses whilst travelling, and behind to help you reverse safely. There is also on-board lighting if required.
- Comfortable cabin area, seating 3 people.
- Is regularly maintained, serviced, taxed and MOT’d
Pricing
Full Day (7am – 7pm) – Saturday or Sunday and bank holidays – £120
Full Day (7am – 7pm) – Monday to Friday – £100
Full Weekend Hire – collection Friday 7pm, return Sunday evening by 7pm – £230
All bookings are accepted with a £50 non refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remainder of the hire fee is payable before collection of the vehicle. No liability is accepted for your horse, equipment and personal items.
Refundable damage deposit of £500 is required upon collection. This is refunded upon return, according to our Terms and Conditions.
Standard hire includes a limit of 300 miles, thereafter excess is charged at 50p per mile. If a second driver is required, this can be added for £10.
Requirements for hire
- Hirer Questionnaire / Proposal Form – this will be emailed to you upon booking and must be completed pre-hire
- Copies of front & reverse of drivers driving licence
- DVLA licence summary – it must be dated prior to the date of the hire. Do this by going to https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-license This will provide you with a code which is valid for 21 days and will need to be provided prior to hire along with the last 8 digits of your driving license number.
- Two recent Utility Bills (Either Gas, Water or Electric dated within 90 days. Other bills cannot be accepted).
- Signed terms & conditions of hire – this will be emailed to you upon booking and must be completed pre-hire
- £50 non refundable deposit paid by BACS at time of booking
- £500 fully refundable deposit paid by BACS prior to collection of horsebox
