To find the house you’ll need come through Burton Hills Country Park, then head down towards the church
Before splitting to the right at the fork in the road
And then following the road to the bottom. Just open the gates and park up in the space marked in the picture below
When you get to the gates press the intercom button on the right hand wall for entry.
The Keys will be in a key safe, the code will be sent to you on your arrival date
The gates open automatically on exit, just approach them slowly and stop before you get to the 2 little posts that sit either side of the drieway.
A key fob is included with your keys for entry during your stay. Just use the top button for entry.
The map below shows the location of Animal Crossing, there is a car parking space next to
the unit.
Just follow the red line (right to left on the map below) from the gates, to the right of Grove Cottage, down beyond the horse barn and menage where you will find The Lookout directly infront of you (marked purple on the map). There is a parking space immediately infront of The Lookout for your use. There is a similar unit close by so please make sure to choose the right one!
Please note there is a 5mph on the driveway and track.
Check-In/Out
- Check in time is from 15:00
- Check out time is 10.00
Early check-in and late check-out may be available, please contact us for further info.
- Early check-in from 13:00 is £25
- Late check-out to 12:00 is £25
Please leave the keys on the kitchen worktop when you depart

The Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with microwave hob, toaster, kettle and a small wine fridge. A further mini fridge can be provided upon request.
We provide some basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, some milk, salt and pepper.
TV Etc
All the channels on the TV are accessed over the internet. Just press the menu button in the centre of the remote control and choose BBC iplayer/Amazon or Netflix.
Please do not log out of any of the accounts.
Heating
The heating and cooling operates from the air conditioning unit, a remote control is used to control it.
- To turn the unit on, press the orange power button on the remote control.
- Press mode button to select heating/cooling etc
- Press the temp up/down arrows to select the temperature
- Pease turn the unit off when you are leaving, or if you are going out for the day etc.
Please do not adjust the schedules!
Hob
To operate the hob:
- Press power button
- When flashing, Press the button for the element you want to heat (the lower or upper one)
- Press + or – button to increase decrease the temperature of the element
- Press the Power button to turn the unit off

BBQ
A small kettle BBQ is provided. We do not provide charcoal, fire lighters or matches for it though. Guests are welcome to bring their own, alternativley a BBQ pack can be ordered for £8, which includes everything you need to get grilling!

Onsite activities
We offer archery lessons and alpaca experience onsite. You can find more information here
Other Activities
Right on the doorstep is Burton Dassett Country Park, ideal for a bracing walk whilst enjoying the views.Also close by is Warwick Castle; ideal for kids. Stratford on Avon is a short drive, National TrustHouses at Farnborough and Upton as well as the Compton Verney estate are great for exporing some historical landmarks. For the car enthusiast the British Motor Museumritish Motor Museum is just down the road.Jeremy Clarkson’s famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop is also a short drive away.

There are lots of nice pubs close by. Some of our favourites:

House Rules
We have very few house rules at The Grove, but it is our family home!
Parking is allocated for 1 car unless agreed differently by the hosts
Quiet hours are 11-7
No smoking on site
No additional visitors unless agreed differently by the hosts
Additional Rules for Guests with Pets
When outside dogs should be kept on the lead at all times.
Dogs are not allowed on the furniture including the beds.
All dog waste should be bagged and disposed of (additional bins can be foud beside Grove Cottage on the driveway. (Blue topped for recycling, grey bin for general waste)
Dogs should not be left alone in the property
Animals
There are a number of animals on site at Grove Farm. The horses are all very friendly and are partial to a carrot, but please do not feed them anything else. There are also some sheep, Llama, chickens, Alpaca and dogs. Mittens, the barn cat, is typically on the prowl too.
Out of bounds areas
The machinery barn and horse barn are out of bounds. A Gentleman called Mick also lives at the bottom of the site adjacent to Animal Crossing who appreciates his privacy.
